Restore a Beautiful, Natural-Looking Smile that Lasts a Lifetime

What Are Dental Implants?
Losing teeth can significantly affect your ability to bite and chew comfortably, limiting the types of foods you can enjoy. Each missing or damaged tooth places additional strain on neighboring teeth, which can lead to further dental problems and more tooth loss. Fortunately, advancements in dental restorations have provided practical solutions through dental implants!
Dental implants are the ideal choice for tooth replacement as they closely mimic the look and feel of natural teeth. They consist of three parts: the fixture, the abutment, and the dental prosthetic. A metal post is surgically placed into the jawbone, acting as a solid foundation, with an abutment attached to secure the final restoration, typically a crown or bridge. This approach ensures functionality, durability, and a natural appearance, effectively restoring both function and aesthetics after tooth loss, we strive to over engineer our surgical process and final prosthetics to ensure long term success!

Creating the Right Treatment for Your Smile

Single Dental Implants
A single dental implant can replace one missing tooth or individual missing teeth in separate mouth areas. Because each crown looks and feels like a natural tooth, your restorations will blend seamlessly into the rest of your smile.
Single dental implants prevent further damage to the rest of your natural teeth by stabilizing your bite, making them a wise investment to help you avoid additional expensive treatments.

Dental Bridges
Dental bridges consist of several false teeth fused into a single restoration to replace multiple teeth in one area. Because we can replace many teeth with fewer implant posts, bridges are a great approach to make dental implants more affordable and minimize the surgical phase of your treatment.

Snap-On Dentures
Snap-on dentures are oral appliances that replace missing teeth. The snap-on denture, also known as an “overdenture,” has the same appearance as a traditional denture. Still, it features unique locators underneath the plate that securely snap or clip onto a corresponding dental implant when flipped over. These dentures need two to four implants to keep them in place, ensuring they are stable and won’t get loose.

All-on-X Full Mouth Dental Implants
All-on-X full mouth dental implants are an excellent solution for those with multiple missing teeth or complete tooth loss. This cutting-edge treatment approach merges the advantages of dental implants with the ease of a permanent prosthetic bridge, giving individuals a lifelike smile and enhanced oral functionality. The All-on-X method uses only four to six strategically placed implants per arch, carefully positioned to provide optimal support and stability for a complete set of teeth.
The Dental Implant Timeline
Dental implants are a versatile solution to tooth loss that can be tailored to address your needs and smile goals. The first step in creating your custom dental implant treatment plan is a consultation, where we will discuss your concerns and goals for how you hope dental implants can improve your quality of life.
We will discuss your dental concerns, smile goals, and medical history. If you’re a good candidate for dental implants, we’ll collect detailed measurements and digital diagnostic images to create the foundation of your new smile design. We will customize every detail of your smile design, from the shape and color of each tooth to how your new teeth match your facial structure and gum and lip line.
As with every My Tooth Docs procedure, you’ll rest comfortably with safe and effective dental sedation. If you need tooth extractions, we may be able to place grafting material and implant posts in the same appointment.
In other cases, we’ll make a small incision in the gums to access the underlying bone and place your implants into predetermined spots within your jawbone. Once placed, we will attach an abutment connector and affix your temporary restoration. This temporary restoration will allow you to enjoy all the benefits of your new smile immediately, meaning you will never go without teeth!
Although dental implants have a well-documented success rate of 95–98%, problems can arise, especially during the fusion period. Careful monitoring and early intervention can usually prevent minor implant complications from becoming severe or irreversible. We’ll schedule periodic follow-up visits after dental implant placement to ensure healing is progressing without complications.
Over the next several months, your dental implant posts will fuse with the surrounding bone tissue during osseointegration. Most of your healing process will be very comfortable, and most patients report tolerable discomfort for the first few days.
Once your mouth has healed, you’ll return to our office for updated scans and to have your final restorations placed. These final restorations are hand-crafted from the highest-quality material and built to last. With proper at-home care and regular checkups, your dental implants have the potential to last an entire lifetime!
